A Case of the Zygomatic Bone Fracture

Abstract

|
This is a report of a case of left zygomatic bone fracture associated with fracture of right sided zygomatic arch without soft tissue laceration due to heading-trauma. The patient was 38 years old male, whose compaints were interfering with the movement of the jaw, flattening and soft tissue swelling of the left check and conjunctival bleeding. Rdduction of the fracture fo the malar-zygomatic compound was made through antral route under general anesthesia. Right zygomatic arch was reduced through intraoral incision. Postoperative course was uneventful.
